First Tap:  Jack Straw Rye (Rye Beer)

Our perennial summer ale debuts this year as a First Tap.  Jack Straw is golden, light and refreshing.  The combination of flaked rye in the grist and continental-style hops give this beer a delicate spicy finish.  OG 1.056, IBU ~19, abv 5.6%

 

2007 Tomero Torrontes- Mendoza, Argentina

Known as white wine of Argentina, this Torrontes has aromas of rose and orange blossoms, light minerality and a crisp finish.

2007 Altos Las Hormigas Malbec- Mendoza, Argentina

From The Wine Advocate:  "The 2006 is a prime contender for the trop value in Malbec.  Purple-colored, it has an excellent nose of violets, spice box, blueberry, and black cherry.  Medium to full-bodied, it offers a creamy texture, layers of flavor, excellent balance, and a long, fruit-driven finish."
